Ugh. Is Mel Kiper back in his cage yet?

Even if you hate NASCAR, check out the highlights of today's race. A few big wrecks, including a huge one at the end that determined the race.

Who won? (more importantly, was it the field?)

It was the field. An underfunded team with a rookie driver.

Not a fireball but still pretty cool.

Even cooler was that, after the crash, Carl Edwards got out of his car and ran across the finish line, a la Ricky Bobby

Anyone know the grade Kiper gave the Browns draft and the comments associated with it?

At Dega, nonetheless. The FOX announcer even said the Bobby reference.

It was a good game, I am interested in how Arsenal plays at home against Man U. I think Arsenal is still about a year away, they seem awful young to me (yes, I know that I am saying this near the end of the season)

Apparently tennis is a sissy sport, according to the caption I read on this photo...and by looking at the photo.

Indians make a 6-1 lead hold up last night in a 6-5 win at Detroit.

LaPorta among the call-ups after last night's win.

Indians give up 5 in the bottom of the fourth, get a two-out 5-run rally in the top of the fifth, and it's tied 5-5 mid fifth on FOX as we speak.

And then came the call to the bullpen...

If you can pitch, even at the Little League level, the Indians' bullpen can use you.

Today's afternoon performance in the 7th inning at Toronto is PATHETIC!

Is Claude Noel also the Indians' bullpen coach in the offseason?

I used to be one heck of a pitcher in T-Ball.

I threw 3 straight strikeouts in my only outing back in 5th grade.

How long till Cleveland gets smart and gives Wedge the boot? This team needs a shake-up and Eric ain't the one to do it. Get rid of him already! He has no idea how to manage a pitching staff.

To add to it... how does Derek Shelton still have a job after TWO hitting slumps, one in mid-summer 2007 that started to cost us before A-Cab and gang caught fire, and then the dismal one last year that -- combined with Joe Blow -- screwed the season?

Answer: Wedge is buddies with Shelton.

Now, the pitching coach Carl Willis is spared. He's done a lot of good work, and it's not his fault that the pitching sucks. There's nothing that can be done right now. He is doing his best, I'm sure.

But Wedge has to do something, and soon, or he'll be in the unemployment line.
