Gotta love giving up 2 goals because of people being lazy and not sticking with their guys through the play (Redden, Gomez).

A leader and example of what, exactly? He only showed he was on ice by blowing a tire, almost injuring himself against the boards.

edit: A guy like Forsberg on this team would've said we (and especially himself) suck 45 games ago.

Props to Chris for holding himself accountable. About damn time someone has basically said, "We suck, but we're trying to fix it given what we have to work with"

Really excited to see what Korpikoski can do in a couple of years. I know he won't be a game changer but he'll be the type of player who every fan can get behind because of his good work ethic and attitude as well as plenty of 20-20 seasons.

Drury looked angry during that intermission interview... like he was going to Hulk out and kill the guy asking questions.

No he's right. He's like an autistic fly. You can't see him and he can't do anything right.

Were you watching the same game I was? Drury's line is matched up against Ovechkins. How many good chances did he get that period. How many chances did his line get? And, BTW, thats called effort, most of the time teammates feed off of it.

Did Drury call out himself and retire during this interview? That would be manning up to me. For him to call out his teammates is not manning up.

He said HE needs to better and HE needs to play better. He said nothing of his teammates. He said he is wearing the C for a reason and he needs to pick up his game during a time like this.

he is way better than he is getting treated here.
Him and Green made the AHL all rookie team their first year in the AHL
Girardi is a good d man. yes he makes mistakes so does STAAL< Rosival . but they get a free pass.

Wade Redden really is a ****ing pylon. Have to be honest. He's like the herpes: huge pain, never goes away, and always there at the wrong times.

He just realized this now? Let's see how he comes out and plays in the 2nd period. And maybe he'll take a pay cut so he isn't screwing his team anymore and this team could go out and get a real hockey player with his money.

Yup, totally true, I mean when he goes down to block a shot or does all of the little things like battling Ovechkin in the corner(who outweighs him by about 45lbs) he shows absolutely zero effort and heart.....stop trying to find a scapegoat where there isnt one.

I agree with you on one thing..there isn't ONE single scapegoat. There are about 15.

But you're in a fantasy land if you think Drury is anything more than a 3rd line defensive, PKing center. Who should be getting paid slightly more than Blair Betts.
