Témoignages contradictoires is the term I read in the media. So lying under oath. Every father understands what he did. No one wants to believe their child is a bad person, they want to help them. Sometimes the best to do would be to let justice take care of it. Most parents would rather try their own best. Guy is human.

I'm thinking he was interrogated and said he didn't do it. Then he was interrogated again and said he did "But..." and that would be a contradiction in testimony.

I believe it's with regards to the sexual assault/**** of a teenage girl. Saw her (blacked out) on the news the other day crying. Very sad.

That said, Guy was just trying to protect his kid. No good for anyone.

I don't. That guy thinks he can do anything because he's a Hockey legend. It's not very smart from him to drive his son to **** a 16 year old girl at the first place. I hope he won't get any favor from the justice because he's a great Hockey player.

Even if he is innocent?

Why would you hope a man trying to help his son is found guilty of a crime? I'm not saying he was right in what he did, I think it showed poor judgment but for you to hope he is found guilty and does time is stupid.

If it's justice you're looking for you won't find it with Lafleur going to jail. Justice would be that the authorities wouldn't have released his son under house arrest in the first place.

What the heck is wrong with that kid ..doesnt he know who his DAD is !!!! If 16 is a crime to have sex in Quebec then arrest 3/4 of the province!!! I grew up on the Ontario -Quebec border and spent many a weekend drinking in Shawville and Portage Du Fort and heck there were younger than 16 drinking along side us in the taverne !!!Mon dieu tabernaque did we have a good time on the Quebec side !!!

The kid ended up that way precisely because his father was Guy Lafleur. He had Tourette syndrome and because of being in the shadow of Guy he could never live up to that. Add to that the deficiency, he never had a great image of himself. So he started falling into drugs, etc...
