Kid is young, and has undeniable talent. However, he's had a few years now to try and make his mark, and he has the same issues every time - comes out roaring, then tapers off. Most believe it's due to his lack of strength, which from all accounts he hasn't been too commited to improving.
At least you give Burke credit for letting the kid try and find his future elsewhere if he knows it isn't with the Leafs. Same thing with Kronwall - if you don't factor into our future, hopefully you can find it somewhere else.
I hope ATL picks him up; he looked phenomenal in the few games of his I saw. Anyone know how waivers work if you've already picked someone up? Do you give up your position in line or are you free to snag as many waiver pickups as you want?
He wasn't in Ron Wilson's good books I don't think. At this point in his career, he's a skill player that isn't good enough to be in the top six and he's one-dimensional enough that he isn't valuable in the bottom six either.
