A couple of Eklund rumors

Quote:
The Rangers are trying to move Rozsival and may have a taker in Tampa if they are willing to take some money back. Also, the Sabres are said to have some interest in Rozsival as are the Ducks should they move Pronger.

The Rangers need direction and leadership. They could relly benefit from a strong player like Tkachuk. I have also heard they are talking to Chicago although I don't have any more details.

I know the Penguins would love to grab Prucha.

I usually wouldn't post anything from this guy, but things are pretty bleak.

Wait, due to Eklund's ****** writing, is he saying the Rangers would have to take salary back in order to move Rozsival to Tampa?!

This deal would make a lot of sense for the Rangers...I love Rozsival but this is the type of creative trade the Rangers should be looking to make..

The Canucks are trying and Ohlund could be the man to go...That being said Bieska could bring a lot more back and I heard just a whisper of talks with the Rangers for Dubinsky. Makes some sense there...

Yea lets trade Dubi for a D! Because this team can score so many goals.

Recchi & Prospal make total sense, been thinking about them for awhile now for this team if Tkachuk costs too much.

Please no Recchi!

So many people throw around this whole "character and leadership" nonsense in regards to Recchi for the last few years. It's absolute bunk when I've seen Recchi take hundreds of defensive shortcuts from his 2nd stint in Pittsburgh to today. He's a me first guy on the ice. I want no part of the guy who part of season led the league in minus (+/-)

If we wanted an over 40 RW for the PP, we would of signed Shanahan for free...

*And wasn't trying to jump you, I just REALLY, REALLY, HATE MARK RECCHI*

Cool, didnt think you were

Yeah, much rather have Shanny over Recchi no doubt. But if he gets rid of contracts doing so to free up cap room then it might be worth it.

ahhhh let's face it guys, we'll probably wind up trading one of our terrible players for another terrible player like Sather does before every trade deadline (except Jagr)

I don't believe so. I think as fans of any team, let alone the Rangers in the current slide we're in, sometimes just need a reprieve. And fantasy land Eck provides that for the most part.

Yes, but never with anything exclusive.
In other words, he's been right at times when reporting the same rumors that 100 other blogs and newspapers are.

I don't think any writers, bloggers, proctologists, etc are consistent with any rumours. Larry Brooks has said for 3 years in a row we were getting Tkachuk. Eklund had us getting Sundin, etc.....
