With that line up you dont really have a top line.....You get the most out of Knuble where he is now, he doesnt fit on a third energy line and certainly doesnt deserve to be playing on the 4th line.
With different personell I would agree with you, but this team is not built to have a 3rd energy line, it is built to have 3 lines that can push the offense.

I wouldnt consider his game soft either, he is just small and not very effective playing physical. Soft to is someone that just completely stays on the perimeter and shys away from the physical game (Huselius, Kariya)

Upshall isnt the best defensive player, but his speed covers up most of his mistakes. I am not too worried about that.
