if theres one thing i agree on with Brunet is Price's passive play.
When a goalie struggles he battles and has to fight pucks. Price is kinda just gliding, very cool, not too worried.
I dont agree with people, keep him in, make him battle.
How much more confidence can he lose?
I don't agree that he's cool and not worried. I think it's quite the opposite actually. He looks like he's in a state of shock he can no longer get out of. What this kid needs right now is either a shrink or a good... time. Seems he's a very emotional guy and doesn't have enough tools to snap out of it (yet).
For the love of all that is holy, stop this crap thinking that the players are tanking, aren't trying, want to lose, don't care, however else you want to say it. Everyone, stop. They are trying, sad as that might be. Shots are even. Play is roughly even. Every time an Oiler touches the puck it ends up in the net. Montreal can't buy a goal from anyone not named Dandenault. S&*%! happens, but you can't tell me they're not trying out there.
It's true. Everyone's pressing right now and we can't buy a break. These ridiculous lines don't help our cause though.
Come on, even Plekanec is hitting. Plekanec! It's not like Montreal is getting horribly outplayed like last night in Calgary. They just suck when SH, have had some awful bounces and shaky goaltending while Edmonton converts every single chance they get and have Roloson playing like a french-Canadian career minor leaguer.
that excuse wouldve flew a week or so back..... sorry not now...Montreal cant even hardly get set up in the Oilers zone....
One more thing, can we stop with all the lame jokes about bowling / mini-put / laser quest / any other leisure activity we can think of, along with the tired hilarity of saying carbo is gonna play a goalie at centre and Brisebois in net? Thank you.
