I hope for 1, but we all know he's here for the long haul as long as Gainey sticks around.

Well someone is accountable and if not the 23 players then it falls to the coach and gm.

Agreed. Gainey and Carbonneau are a package, like it or not. He will never can Carbonneau.

Depends what Boivin decides.. Cuz gainey wont fire Carbo..

The organisation wont fire the GM at the gates of the trade deadline.
depending how Gainey's doing at the trade deadline we'll know what will happen in the off season.

it's sad but the staff might pay for what's going.. when we all know the true problem are the vets on this team

Carbo won't be fired. Nor would it make a difference if he were.

Carbonneau is not a bad coach. Fromtherink.com has a list of the records of all active coaches in the league right now and Carbonneau is doing quite well.

Well we'll be out of the playoffs probably by next week, so that won't be too far away.

I don't really care, as long as something is done. I don't comment often, but things seem to be getting a little ridiculous. The dyslexic line juggling obviously didn't work. I know, there's key injuries and whatnot, but at this point I think they've gone past the point of just trying to ride it out. A fire has to be lit somehow, whether that be firing Carbo, making a trade, send some players to the minors, or whatever. Just do something because this team is becoming more and more painful to watch with each passing game.

Timmins as GM would be the end of the franchise.

HEY,

ever heard of Claude Julien, the guy who, after being fired by the Habs, led NJ to 2nd in the east and is now at the helm of the 1st place Bruins?

The problem is not coaching, it's more in the players. When your veterans are crapping it up day in and day out, don't expect much.

...our 3 man forwards are injured

...our defence is completely a mess and weak

everything else put on him haha

but doesn't deserve to be fired yet... get him a solid line up and see what happens

The organisation is like the team, too passive.

So nothing will happen to Carbo, now he is busy making new lines for next game.

This team will never grow until we get rid of all the egotistical players.
