1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

^^^ I think the Stars need to look at bringing back that cute olympic athelete and ditching Willa Ford...

This is obviously a must win game before we head out on the road to play Chicago... Dallas needs to bring a better effort in the first period then they did yesterday, and they will be alright..

The most pressing question for this game seems to be who's number gets called for Richards' LW. Tippett appears unsure who he prefers to this point. Lundqvist had some chances against Phoenix but couldn't finish any better than the rest of the team. Sutherby kind of sucked in general. Does this get Lundqvist another game on the 2nd line?

Per Mark @ Andrew's, Sutherby practiced on the Richards line with Lundqvist back on the 4th.

Should be an interesting game folks. The Canucks' offense is rolling with both of the top 2 lines contributing. Hopefully Turco doesn't stymie is though!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the shot blocking stat had something to do with it.

Remember that game against the Canucks last year where they basically had their entire AHL D corps called up due to their catastrophic injury situation? So frustrating because the Stars couldn't break through all night against those guys. But then Morrow scored a clutch shootout goal to win.... remember him?
