Even Razor is off his game.

"Neal went off during an offsides."

Neal double shifting now.

Richards looked like Modano on that last rush, going as slow as humanly possible toward the other end.

Does throughly outplayed really describe this period? I need a more empathic verb.

shameful effort implies effort of subpar nature. I don't see much "effort" at all.

This period just gets progressively worse and worse. It's very much time for it to end.

Chicago won every battle that period, it's really amazing the score isn't worse.

Come out better in the 2nd boys

That would've been a great time for Niskanen to deck Ladd after the horn while he was juggling the puck.

1-0 is not too bad after playing like that. Huet probably needs to get warmed up again during the intermission.

Been a good physical game so far...

No word on Sharpie yet, but it didn't look good.

I smell a line brawl maybe brewing in the next 40 minutes... some cheap shots/late hits by both teams, this could get interesting!

EDIT: Also... I am not referring to the hit tonight, because I don't think Ott intended to late hit Sharp. But isn't Ott kind of a similar player to Avery? Every time I've watched him he is...

Going to need a lot from everybody if they want to make this game at least competitive otherwise this is going to turn very ugly real fast.

Stars have got to stay patient when they get the puck. The D need to work it back and forth a bit if the forwards are just going to be checked immediately when they receive the pass. Chicago's overpursuing a bit; a couple of smart passes could lead to breakaways.

I'd be laughing too if I were Kane and the Stars were matching Sydor up against me.

The line changes have been horrible all night. The bench is asleep. Hardly any line is getting out on the ice all together as a group.

Why is Razor talking about cantaloupes? Did someone forget to give him his meds?

Dallas really doesn't need him but I'd love to see Havlat in a Stars' uni.
