Haven't you figured it out yet. You guys are supposed to be the laughing stock of the NHL. This winning games trick is ruining it for everyone. Party poopers.

Winning a cup 13 years ago doesn't make up for the patheticness (word?) that we see today.

And Art Ross, Hart, and the Conn Smyth Trophies aren't team awards. They're individual awatds.

The city of Pittsburgh obviously doesn't want to build the Penguins a new arena.

I highly doubt the acquisition of Alexander Ovechkin will change their minds.

They were still won by players in our organization. You can add president's trophy to the list as well.

Usually the bad, pathetic teams are the ones who get the first overalls. Chicago has been pathetic for how many years now? What makes a team like them or even the rangers or caps(who couldn't win even with money) less pathetic?

So is there anything else that makes us a pathetic organization other than the fact that the penguins are a bad team?

Will the Leafs be a pathetic organization after they fail to win the cup again and eventually lose their window and have all their old players retire?

If the Penguins are pathetic (pathetic today, as you put it) and they beat the Leafs today....what does that make the Leafs?

Seriously, the Penguins beat the Leafs. Deal with it. Quit your crying, there's no crying in hockey.

They didn't want to build stadiums or the Steelers or Pirates, either. It has a lot less to do with the franchise than local economics.

Not that the Pens are asking for city money in the first place.

I agree. If Mario Lemieux, and then Jaromir Jagr couldn't get a new arena built, what are the chances that a pimply, albeit talented Russian teen will?

? Ovechkin has nothing to do with a new arena...

If Ovechkin doesn't influence the city of Pittsburgh to build a new arena, that team won't be around much longer.

The :most pathetic organization in the league" is on a 6-2-1 tear and just beat your godly Leafs.

Ovechkin can sellout every game. It still won't convince the city to shell out a hundred million.

Well, I think we all know the Leafs let the Penguins win this one.

Pathetic organization? I would much rather see the next great talent play for Pittsburgh than Bill Wirtz' Blackhawks, no offense to the remaining fans of that team. And funny, I don't think you'd be criticizing a Canadian organization for being unable to build a new arena if they needed one and couldn't get funding from any level of government.

Yeah, the geezers only managed 48 shots on goal. It's a miracle they could even skate all the way to the other end of the ice without their walkers.

No, they actually looked pretty good.

When your goalie makes 44 saves, you usually win.

No because the Leaf fans support their team win or lose unlike the Pen fans. Even when our old player retire we will just go sign your star players because you can't afford them.

47 shots...that says alot.
I was at the game, the Leafs dominated 90% of the game.
Kidd let in 1 bad one.
Hot goalie saves the day for the Pens.
whats the big deal?
