oh. my. god. they tied it.

anyone else seem to notice that the sound of the fans banging on the boards seems incredibly loud compared to other arenas?

Strangely indicative of the year, eh?

At least we came away from this back to back with at least 3 points.

Wow, they pulled it off... Christensen fulfills his usefulness for another month or two. What a game.

Kozlov and EC nail it........

We can all breathe a sigh of relief again - back to back wins!

____

Well a rolllercoaster game... but:

1) Way too many penalties. (Hainsey!! Boulton!! I'm talking about you)

2) Sat back too much in the 2nd and 3rd.

3) Our defenders were out muscled in the 3rd completely.

___

Oh well, goodnight

WOW, two exciting, high-scoring games in a row! I could really get used to this stuff. Awesome game from Bogo, love watching him tear up the ice out there, Little continues to show why he's going to be a career top-6er, and EC made LA's goalie look absolutely stupid. Great stuff.

EC showing the only thing that doesn't make him completely useless, and Kozlov is just so damn smooth in shootouts.

After that elbow by Kopitar to Toby and Derek Armstrong taking Bogosian out at the legs, I would have been sick losing to these ****ers

^ yeah Bogosian played amazing again! He will be a star.

Stuart line hustled again props to them. Stuart looked good especially.

Kovy looked amazing as always. Little looked good as always. Toby looked good to.

Special teams was horrible and we took to many penalties that cost us.

And it was good to not see old man Matty on the ice.

Stuart won't be seeing Chicago anymore, and these Pacific teams that never see us really have no clue how to handle Kovy

I'm waiting to see Kozlov yawn while carrying the puck in on his next shootout attempt, he makes it look that easy.

I agree with the Lehtonen comment.

My thoughts on hedberg is he just isn't good enough anymore as a reliable backup. He was outplayed by Pavelec at training camp and I don't think the thrashers can afford to carry him again next season regardless of having another year left on his contract. I know the Thrashers have had a bad defence over the years but moose hasn't had a save percentage greater than 90% for the past four seasons and it has gotten worse each year as well.

JA/DW needs to give Pavelec his time for next season (or acquire another backup) and keep Hedberg in the minors has an insurance option only in case Lehtonen breaks down again.

Back to back wins, on a West Coast road trip, while trading a player in between the games.

Not too shabby

Looks like just one reality-challenged Kings fan, but he posts enough to seem like 20

Seemed like about 10% of the posts in the Kings GDT were hoping they could acquire/steal/kidnap Kovalchuk somehow. I'd say most Kings fans are smarter than homerboy.

Either way, I'm glad I wasn't around to get dragged into posting in that guy's alternate reality world.
