Raycroft in goal.

The same old tripe from FG in the Denver Post today. "Everything will be fine, remember that run we had that year we didn't make the playoffs?" Blah blah blah

If everything works to plan, we could leapfrog Ottawa and Toronto for 4th overall tonight with a slim chance that Tampa catches us on Thursday. Just awesome.

I don't know why anyone would interview that guy.

The favorable schedule strikes again for the Avs: they get Ottawa at home after the Sens played last night. Two in a row is a good possibility.

That's too bad. We've been having our way with teams on winning streaks lately.

Tyler Pierre Francois Granatoclark is going to evacuate us through his bowels.

Just kidding. Here's hoping Tyler scores during the last minute tonight!

This will be an interesting game. A hot bad team (Ottawa) and a consistently bad team that only shows up against the Wings (Avs). Since we only seem to find ways to win against Detroit, I think we lose this one and take a dive in the standings.

It's going to be tough to dive in the conference standings as we are already in last place. But on the bright side...we do move down one spot overall in the leage if the Sens win in regulation. We could go down two spots overall if we lose in regulation and Toronto wins.

GO AVS!

[edit...Hercules Rockefeller already posted our possibilities for moving down earlier...You're too quick spreading the good news brother.]

Sens on a 5 game winning streak.

I pray that it's 6 after tonight. Not only will it crush us even further, but it'll leap frog Ottawa past us in the standings.

Brian Elliott will eat us alive!! But just in case he doesn't, I benched him in the only game that matters--fantasy hockey.

Yeah, clearly he's had a debilitating season due to the tough, tough injuries. He deserves another season or two to prove this was a fluke.
