Gainey is more or less indirectly stating Kovalev is done, obviously you didn't get the hint.
We have all the right to our opinion, but Gainey never said Kovy is fired, your thread is realy misleading.

The facts are he was told to stay home for the two next game and get some rest.

The kos bros are half russian. lived in belarus yes.

I'm afraid you may be right. And that makes me sad.

I like skill guys. And I liked Kovalev from last year, too.

Gainey is going to try and move Kovalev to insert another player, since they're at the cap limit.

Look at those lines people...I feel like we have nothing left on this team it's crazy...looks like a AHL team. We're not the coyoties ffs !!
It isn't too late to salvage our rookies and sophomores from the terrible example this guy has been setting. Get rid of the tumor and build around character for next year.

In other news, Sergei Kostitsyn has been sent down to Hamilton.

Thoughts?

I think we gave if enough chances...and hopefully we can trade him and get a few good assests.
/clap way to twist Gainey's words Genius.

So all this "forced rest" is, basically, Gainey's way of bullying Kovalev and make him cough up his no trade clause?

And it's so easy to blame it all on kovy. Don't forget his entire lien sucked ***** this year. How did you want him to score with a terrible PP and Plecky with no turtle neck ?

He doesn't have NTC.

Forced rest is Gainey's way of telling Kovalev that he's part of the problem. He needs to get on board with the rest, if he can't he'll go elsewhere.

Yes, the Guy C dream of a lineup full of plumbers is almost a reality.

Who are we going to sign now? Kostos younger brother?

I should have re-worded my thread to Gainey indirectly stating that Kovalev was finished.

But you can bet yourselves that Kovalev will NEVER play another game in the Habs uniform.

Which is a shame, the amount of Talent this guy had...
