for Begin (1M) and Bouillon (1.8M, UFA)

Begin- a 4th liner, block shots, sacrifices body for team
Bouillon- a no.5 with speed, small size but hits like a big guy, check out his fight vs tucker etc..very brave and courageous and fought many times after scrums when our goalies get run over, due to the young players coming in in our system, time to give them a chance somewhere else.

Tanguay (5.25, cup, UFA) + Begin+Bouillon for Drury or Gomez, (3 yrs left) if you really want to unload his salary. We need a center in montreal.

yeah i would do #2.

#1 really doesn't benefit us that much, and really blair is one of the few guys we can count on game in and game out.

Its sad that the rest of the NHL hasn't caught on that Blair Betts is the Rangers best player other than Lundqvist.

I personally don't want Betts to ever leave this team. He's one of those under rated players who knows his role and does it very well.

I'd like to have a guy like Tanguay on the team, wasnt he at a point-per-game for a while? I'd prefer to have more of a sniper than another playmaker but if it unloads Gomez's contract I'm all for it

I like Betts but he isn't untouchable by any means.

If you've got the cap space either or both Drury and Gomez for future (2-3-4 years from now) 7th rd draft picks. I just want them gone at this point.

I'd take Per Djoos and Normand Rochefort for Gomez or Drury.

Betts isnt untouchable but if we trade him it wouldn't be as a throwaway, it would be because we were getting a valuable return. Trading Betts for another version of Betts makes no sense. You aren't going to get anyone who does what Betts does better than Betts does it for less than Betts makes.

His bang for the buck and value in his role are both extremely high.

anyone think thats a three team trade is maybe in the works between us habs n bolts. just an idea since both teams are supposedly after vinny maybe its the haps that reallt want vinny and we are just apart of the trade to shed a contract like gomer
