I think we all slotted Schneider in with Hamrlik but putting him with markov may be a better solution. Its been obvious that Komisarek hasn't been great and may benefit from a move to the 2nd pairing with the Hammer.

Hopefully the team responds to the messages that have been sent in the last couple days. For what it's worth, I actually think that those lines look pretty good (considering what there is left to work with).

I am a huge fan of Stewart's game, and have wanted Schneider to come back to the Habs for a couple months now, so I'm pretty excited for tonight. The Caps are a hell of a team though, so the Habs will have to be on their game to get the W.

These will work well, Koivu's line will control the puck alot, With max, pleks has to pick up his play just to keep up, lapierre's line looks like a great forechecking line with lots of energy, the fourth will see limited ice to give the other three a breather, caps may not even get a goal tonight.

I'll give Big Georges the benefit of the doubt. I don't think he's even in game shape yet, but he can be strong in the corners.

I'm a big fan of Begin and I'm not sure why he's scratched so often now. Injuries? His body has taken a toll over the years with his style of play. Love him, he's all heart, and effort.

Mcguire at an Ovechkin game = me at an Elizabeth Banks nudathon
LOL, Elizabeth Banks grarrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I am really looking forward to this game. I like the third line a lot and think Koivu Higgins and D'ags will pot a few. Akost on the right wing is exciting as well. I think the D pairings might work too, Markov gets no offensive help from Komi and we really need Andrei to step up. This game could be the TSN turning point of the season.

With all that's going on, price getting the start, no kovy,s.kost, stewart in the game, schneider back in the fold no brisebois or begin 4 solid lines. Even laraque looked a little better in the last game.

With all the crazyness with Higgins price s.kost partying whatever.

The habs will shake off the shackles and skate hard, hit hard, shoot hard and come out of Washington with a 3-0 victory.

yep price with a shutout. I said it. Price with a shutout. BOO

I predict a habs win for 2 reasons: they usually play better after a shakeup and we will need to keep the trend of crappy gdt if they win

My lines are better:

Dags - Koivu - AK46
Higs - Plek - Patches
Stews - Laps - Dandy
Begin - Chips - Laraque

I'm pretty sure he'll take this chance to crack open his season 1 of "Lost" to see what the fuss is all about. Ironically it could be the title of his new Warrior DVD.

OMG OMG Please tell me this is true. I love the look of that line and I'd love to see AK46 play RW.

Here's hoping for:

- A Habs win

- AK46 to dominate

- Schneider to have a good debut

- Price to rebound

- Laraque vs Brashear

I think this might ACTUALLY be a good time to send Kovy to Chez P. If he's tired mentally and physically, he can take the night off, tell the lovely lady (who is about to go to Mcgill med school) his name is Gaston when she asks and relax in anonymity. I trust it will "lighten his load".

has MoMo316 cancelled on us? has he been around? did i miss something?

I don't care who does it but we don't need to start going half a$$ just cause were displeased with the current slump. anyway rant over.

call me proud call me whatever but i don't believe in lowering ones self just cause someone else has.

Well I can only talk for myself, but keep in mind that it takes some time to make those gdts. I have a template layout ready now, but still you have to gather all the info and stats, not even talking about illustrations.

We have had some games where nobody had the time to make it. Even when the team was winning most of the games. Everybody has priorities sometimes.

Believe me, I'd rather stay home now and spend some time on some silly pictures instead of going to work. Plus the slump argument is not so valid to me. All the crap we read about the team lately is really inspiring

No I sent him the pic I made for this game and he said he would sign Brisebois for 5 more years if I posted it. So...

I would put:

Markov - Sneider
Hammer - Gorges
Bouillon - Komo

Agreed?

No that pairing is brutal when they get stuck on the ice together in the middle of a change or following a PP.

I wonder if finally Andrei gets a chance to play 20 mins+ in this game. I'm sure the day Carbo finally uses him as a top player that he is.
