Edmonton put up a pretty game effort against the Sharks last night on the road. Were very physical with them. In the end though they got overwhelmed by the speed and skill.

They've come quite a ways from the beginning of the year though, much like the Stars.

If he isn't, he's still day to day. He didn't play on Tuesday against San Jose.

Edit: Nevermind. He did play against SJ

Nope, he is happily producing points for one of my fantasy teams, can't remember which one.

I always like the Alberta teams, they always give us a really good game. I hope we do well against these guys, we really do need the wins even more badly now. And I thought that would be impossible at this point.

Games to watch tonight.
Columbus against St. Louis
Nashville against Detroit
Los Angeles faces off against Anaheim.

And of course, as I type this, the Jackets score. Gag.

Haha they just called Russell a young Darryl Sydor, I just hope he's always better than the old Sydor.

Wow that was a sweet kick save by Mason, and no, I'm not saying which one.

I am still calling Mason a fluke. He will fail, he is a second coming of Raycroft

I don't think Raycroft was this good when he first played, and he played for a much better team. I have no idea why you'd call Mason a bust though, he's done nothing to hint at that.

Oh, and, 2-0 Jackets.

All i really care about is getting there now..

meaning i just want Anaheim (9th) and teams below them to keep losing from here on...

Id actually prefer Detroit or San Jose in the first round where they are most vulnerable, rather then play them again in the 2nd or 3rd rounds (if we get there) and so they dont have there tails and confidence way up..

So in my opinion seeding is irrelavent as long as we are in there. Oddly enough the team I dont want in the post season is chicago...so from 5-8, the position i would least want is 5... but i guess you take what you get..cant complain about making the playoffs can you

Id be veeerry happy if we fell into the 6th seed, I think we could take care of Calgary

6 would be prime time.

As for Mason, I guess I am just a player hater. I just feel he will flame out, I have not been impressed with what I have seen. Albeit I haven't watched too much jackets hockey as I don't like them at all.

That little chip he made along the boards to get clear was the impressive part. The falling down thing has been done before (by him )
