A game between LA and Anaheim featured a Zubie clip?

Cool.

I have to laugh when they call it the "Freeway Faceoff" between the Ducks and the Kings. Subway series, it is not.

Anything to keep the Birdies out of the playoffs!

damn it lobo, I try to start a nice conversation in the Oilers GDT and you have to ruin it with your snipy bs

I honestly have no idea which way this game could go... I could see a close hard fought win for either team, or a straight blowout...

Ott will play.

Lines from Practice on Wednesday:

Ott-Ribeiro-Lehtinen
Neal-Modano-Brunnstrom
Lundqvist-Petersen-Eriksson
Barch-Sutherby-Parrish or Conner

Daley-Robidas
Fistric-Grossman
Sydor-Niskanen

Who is the lesser of two evils here...Might as well suit up Celina Rae to play wing on the 4th line.

Conner at least has speed.

Parrish...not so much.

I would seriously hope that Tip finds a way to get Eriksson more than 3rd line minutes without Richards. Aside from leading us in goals, I still think he is one of our better defensive forwards as well.

They're just placeholders until Wilson is healthy. The guy really looked good as time went on. I think he's scoring 0.5 point per game in very limited time. Plus, he isn't afraid to get physical.

Guy just needs to stay out of the box. Dallas seems to get scored on every time he takes a damn penalty.

Barch-Sutherby-Wilson

I think that line played 1 or 2 games together, but they looked good. Do you think Sawada could be this year’s version of Crombeen last year? I love how confusing that sentence is.

Crombeen came up at the trade deadline, played well, and even saw limited action in the playoffs. Of course spots opened up last year because Dallas moved 2 forwards for 1. This year, Dallas will have too many players with Morrow (maybe) and Richards coming back.

is he available for tonight? O_o

**I think if he is in the lineup it would be great for the team - along with Ott he'd inject some energy into Dallas that guys like Mark Parrish and Chris Conner just can't provide. Everything I've read about this guy indicates to me that he'll be a fan favorite in the future

Let's not jinx the boy, lol.

Also, I hope this isn't an audition of sorts; perhaps JackHull's been working the phones and other teams have shown interest in Sawada?

Heika couldn't confirm that he would or wouldn't be in the lineup tonight. I think he'd be a plus for tonight, but more important for the next 2 games (Chicago and San Jose).

Can you imagine how amped up that kid is?

This is exciting. Finally.

Sawada for Conner. Great move .... almost good enough to make me forget about Crombeen.... almost.
