Kudos to our PP. Lots of fail by Komi and Bouillon.

- schneider looking calm and collected out there, congrats on his first point with the habs (second time around...)
- komo is looking more and more brutal out there..can't complete simple passes and is the reason ovie burned us on that goal
- price looking very solid so far, big glove save gave him some confidence
- higgins the best hab on the ice so far, busting his ass every shift, big goal and drew the penalty that led to our second goal

Seriously.

He's probably complaining about the Ovechkin goal but Chipchura did everything right on that play...I mean come on, he got there before Hamrlik, had Ovechkin on his ass and didn't take a penalty (I think), what else could he have done?

What are you talking about? They got mesmerized a couple of times (by the best player in the world, what do you want), but that was a decent road period.

Agreed on all points. I love the way Higgy is playing tonight, he's a madman out there.

He's playing like he was when we thought he would become our franchise player.

It seems he's totally forgotten that Tanguay's back in a week. His impact will be greater than the return of Kovalev to form.

I understand.

I am a Kovy defender but i am aware that he was a problem. His effort on the ice was not acceptable but i hate it when some members here are putting all the blame on Kovalev for everything. This team has a lots more problems and these problems are not cause by Kovalev only. I dont like what Gainey because it makes it look to everybody that Kovalev was the cause of the team struggle and tell the players that now that the "only" problem is gone, you guys should start working.

I'm in class. Is Schneider good? I know he has a PP assist, how about defensively?

He's been good so far, nothing really noticeable, he's doing his job.

I agree, he's had plenty of chances in the NHL so the first time call-up jitters can't be an excuse anymore. Sad, I had high hopes for him, but he doesn't look like he's going to be a team member any time soon.

That was a close one, I thought it was 3-2 Caps for a second there.
