Dreger on TSN: Denies speaking about teammates and wants to come back

He was reading an email directly from Kovy to him. Mckenzie says Habs are saying to other teams Kovy is NOT available.

I was happy to hear that. I hope Kovy comes back and shuts everyone up and shows everyone what he really is made of. Props to Kovy for wanting to come back even stronger.

Bob McKenzie on TSN: Kovalev is NOT available

This is what teams are being told, just spoke about it 30 seconds ago.

Did you watch it?!

It cam directly from Kovalev via e-mail on his BlackBerry!

That's the source I believe and will stick with! The only source!

I normally don't like Dreger, but god bless him doing the intelligent grown up thing.

Who'd have thought of freaking emailing Kovalev and getting a direct answer?

Solid journalistic work on his part. Habs media need to take notes.

My respect for Dreger just went up by a huge amount.

I just saw that. I am glad to hear it and hope they can work out their differences. Also he said Gainey said Kovy needs an attitude adjustment and Kovy apparently agrees.

Kovalev says he won't be back next year no matter what....

L’Artiste précise qu’il ne serait pas surpris d’être échangé. Une chose est certaine toutefois, il refuse de poursuivre sa carrière avec le Canadien la saison prochaine.

It wasn't his initiative I bet. Kovy knew how to shut everyone up and did the right thing! The smart thing!

That's what I expected, Gainey likes Kovalev.

I'm happy, can't deny it.

On the other side, I will fully blast the whole 110% crew for creating such a world of ******** in 48hrs...specially Lajoie praising Perron for making Gainey move. They're pathetic.

I was having fun with the drama, thanks for ruining it. I guess the drama will continue for a while still, MTL media much rathers stick with rumours than facts.

I believe dreger, cause if i was Kovalev i would e-mail someone from TSN over any other sports news outlet.

If he is sitting at home and hearing all this BS about him from the "russian papers again" He would want to get the truth out before this blows up.

'Cause evidently Dreger is much more credible. And even if Kovalev wrote that to him, surely he's not trying to do some damage control.

I'm happy of these news. Apparently, this "anonymous russian source" should shut up.
