I think the real question about this commercial is why does the guy come back with four coffees when there is only three parents??

How come none of the kids trip Crosby? And why is there no referee?

The 4th coffee is for Crosby. If you watch closely at the end of the commercial you can see him carrying it back to the bus in his purse.

I ****ing hate Tim Horton's commercials. It's not just this one. It's all of them. Trying to be funny, trying to hit home with heart warming stories. Actually, the heart warming stories aren't so bad (tollerable) but the ones where they try to be funny.

They are so ********. Who approves them? They seriously have a board of people who approve the commercial and then pitch the final idea to the big boss who then agrees to go with it? Unbelievable. I could understand if there was one marketer who oversaw everything and had carte blanche right through to airing. However, these go to a board, different ideas are pitched, a handful approved, then to managers for funds and production, then aired. My point is that they are approved by lots of people and are ********, wouldn't someone stand up and say so?

This must be why Tim Hortons is struggling, because they don't let you write their commercials.

Yes, I know we're way over-analysing

The Vancouver Canucks once showed up at a neighbourhood outdoor rink here in Ottawa for a practice, I guess that's as close as you're going to get in real life.
The Kings if they have an extra day between games with Calgary and Edmonton stop at an outdoor rink in Red Deer; actually an outdoor rink that is down the street from me. The last time they did it, was the day Conroy got traded to the Flames; kinda funny to see a crowd tell a player he had been traded to the team he was supposed to be playing againist the next night.

Yeah, that's one reason.

Putting crack in their coffee might be another. Even with my superior marketing skills I wouldn't be able to get them out of that news leak.

I was fast forwarding through that commercial then I saw him on the bus and though it was a commercial for some new Andy Samberg movie..

I rewound it only to find out it was Crosby. Disappointed, I hit the fast forward button again.

How many things don't belong here?

1) Would the Penguins be taking a bus along such a remote path?

2) None of the kids or their parents ask for autographs or pictures.

3) Sidney Crosby walks off the bus by himself.(No Penguins staff or teammates along, if for no greater reason than just sheer curiosity.)

4) Why would such an apparently small isolated rink be equipped with lights?

Has anyone spotted anything else?
If you look closely, in the background, you can see Marc-Andre Fleury reading "Speaking English for Dummies" to Malkin.

Really, I mean, let's review this:

Bathtub overflows - 5-6 minutes
Turkey burns - 5-6 hours
Sprinkler turns lawn into post-Katrina New Orleans - 5-6 days

The answer of course is that Cialis causes kinky time-warp sex.
