They can tell other teams that to add value at the deadline.

What a shot by Staal

Fans are pissed. It's pretty bad when they are quiet enough that I can understand what the on-ice players are saying.

5-1 on Seidenberg's goal. I want to see at least 2 goals in the 3rd because I don't trust this team against anybody.

Well, it could be a lot worse for New York. We could've scored on those two breakaways and that 2 on 1.

fixed it for you.

Of course, if the Canes ARE moving him, getting his game back on track like this is EXACTLY what the Canes want out of Seidenberg.

It really is true. If the Canes think that this game is actually indicative of how they stack up against other teams then I'm scared for the rest of the season. I only watched half a period but I saw the Islanders D skate into each other at least 3 or 4 times.

Who's the guy interviewing Ru? He is absolutely hilarious.

Ruutu: Well, playing with those guys makes me look good...

Dude: WRONG! You're the one making them look good!

The isles are talking about the post rangers hangover. They put in all their effort against the cross town rivals last game apparently.

As often as we run into teams with a chip on their shoulder for one reason or another, I'm fine with playing a team that takes the night off every now and then.

Yeah I guess I can see that, it really looks like they don't care out there. Don't engage the puck carrier, just sorta skate beside them and try to feebly poke away the puck.

That should be the isles announcers BTW. They interviewed Ruutu instead of one of their own players or coaches, But even so a player or coach wouldn't use that excuse.
