His best shift in Philly was in OT with Metropolit

He's looked terrible tonight. The other 11 forwards haven't been spectacular either.

When Kostitsyn is standing still at center ice waiting for a miracle to happen, when he's turning the puck over half the times he gets the puck, the bad passes he's making, how is that Kovalev or anyone else's fault?

Usually, when players are playing well but have no chemistry with their linemates, they make passes where their linemates should be but isnt, etc. What they dont do is play like crap INDIVIDUALLY.

He's my favorite player, but he needs to play much better. Much much better.

When Kovalev was stuck with Samsonov 2 years ago, they said Kovalev is really talented so he should make it work. Well, A Kostitsyn is really talented, he's 24, in his prime, making 3.25 million dollars. He should make it work!

I've said it before and I'll say it again (others have said it as well)..

Andrei is a really good player when he's the go-to guy on his line.

I can't ****ing believe that Carbo (after admitting earlier in the year that AK46 is better without Kovalev on his line) still plays him with Kovy...

and I see that Tanguay will play with Koivu and Higgins.

****ing Carbo...

I'd like:

Tanguay-Koivu-Kostitsyn
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Kovalev
Higgins-Lapierre-D'Agostini
Stewart-Metropolit-Kostopoulos

When Latendresse comes back, I'd rather see him with Lapierre and Pacioretty, as I think that becomes a very tough to play against line. And since we don't have a third offensive center, this means D'Agostini (looks bad with fourth liners) will be in the press box or Hamilton. Plus, Higgins and Plekanec have in the past looked good together, so maybe that will help wake Chris up.

Tanguay - Koivu - A. Kostitsyn
Higgins - Plekanec - Kovalev
Pacioretty - Lapierre - Latendresse
Stewart - Metropolit - Kostopoulos

I think that's a pretty solid team. Too bad Lang went down and Sergei didn't perform, cause otherwise our offense would look great. Oh and too bad Carbo will never play these lines.

Or maybe I'll feel better about Carbo when Kovalev will be gone, I feel he is an anchor to Carbo's coaching because I feel, that in any team, he would end up 3rd or fourth line

Even Benoit Brunet on the air said that, he said that Carbo should keep Andrei away from Kovalev.

It seems so obvious, the only one that doesn't get it is Carbo...

But that's the thing. I think he does "get it" he just chooses not to do it. He stated earlier in the year that AK46 plays better without Kovalev...so what does Carbo do? Keeps him with Kovalev. What an idiot.

If this is true.. that's horrible. Players should be afraid of their coaches not the other way around.

I think it's more the fact that it made Carbo realize it. He was juggling too much with the trios which created no chemistry.

But now that the teams doesn't score, why not try A.Kost at the RW far from Kovalev? Our LEADING SCORER is not scoring and Carbo doesn't try new things???

WTF.. seriously.

Let's imagine this. You are a Quebec-based player in the KHL in some ex Republic where even Russian is not the official language (you do know a few words in Russian but not much - and noone understands your French). There is another Quebecer on the team, and you had an exceptional year with him on your line. This year, the whole team has worst career years, you and your teammate included.

Now, wouldn't you want to stay with your friend, the only other attacker that can understand you ? Regardless of your production ? Hoping you can get out of the mess together ?

Maybe Andrei K actually wants to be with Kovalev on the same line ? I know you guys don't give a .... about what players want or feel but still.

Why hurt Andrei's feelings

We're paying him 3.5 millions a year. He's paid to play hockey and score goals.

Come on...

I am so mad that A Kost is on LW with Kovalev and blame this on the loss to the Thrashers tonight. What in the world is Carbo doing? Fire his ass if he can't make this adjustment.

Almost the exact lines I wanted with Tanguay coming back. Now, just swap TKO and D'ago and it will even be better.
