Well if I was there I would give a standing O to the all-time best Leaf

It would be pretty funny if he scored the GW

It's funny, through as much frustration as theres been with the entire situation. I honestly could not imagine ANYONE Boo'ing this man. Seriously, its classless and I will be very dissapointed.

Booing is classless, but voodoo dolls are all the rage! Here's hoping for a high ankle sprain!

More importantly, like others have said, Go Kyle Go!

Prediction: Wellwood lights it up via a three point night, but the Leafs put the tank on hold to win 5-3 with an empty netter.

im almost positive mats gets booed.. but i dont want that to happen.. still it would be interesting if mats was booed at the beginning but wellwood pots 2 and then by the end of the game the leafs fans are so pissed at wellwood they just boo him instead.. still although i wouldnt boo mats i cant really blame the ppl that would.. i was reading a column in the sun and started thinking... he really screwed us bad (although i doubt it was intentional).. if mats waived it could be argued that since seemingly the rest of the "muskoka five" are willing to waive now, they may have waived at the deadline... so mats waives, we get higgins a first and grabo, we wouldnt have traded our 2nd for grabo in the offseason either, so we still hold on to that.... we trade kaberle for carter and a first.. we trade kubina for maybe sj first or something of value.. probably trade mccabe for something small... dont think tuckers contract could have been moved but see thats a lot of rebuild there... then the reasons he said he was staying were more or less ALL contradictory, but i digress.. the man made a mistake and i cant blame him for everyone having a ntc and i cant blame him for changing his mind.. 13 years of cheering him just makes it impossible to boo him because of 10 months.. but those who have tickets do as you wish as you probably paid quite the premium to be in the building and noone should stop u from making the noise u want to

edit: btw i read something else in the sun that was pretty funny... someone who is in the anti-mats bandwaggon should bring one of their old sundin jerseys, but get a FOR RENT sign from the dollar store and find a way to wear it

I'm going to the game and will be cheering loudly. Go get 'em, Mats!

On another note, how strict is the ACC when it comes to cameras? I have a small digital (Canon Powershot A70) and would like to bring it in. If they find it will they just deny me entrance?

When exactly did Kaberle break his hand?

Mats is apparently feeling pretty bad, the flu.....so he might see limited ice time. Played just 15 min the other night.

I'm guessing, when he decided to submit a list of teams to Burke.

if Sundin nets a hat trick, would you throw down your hat for him?

Hope he gets a standing O for several minutes but it probably won't happen ...

Also, hope that Schenn shows him who's the new king in town.

Should be a good game.

Schenn rubbing out Mats would be epic; then turning to him and saying "It's (going) to be my team now, bee-otch!"

I'm nervous about what the reaction will be. We boo we look like morons. We cheer and we've got to be the classiest fans out there.

Listening to his interview he looked upset about coming back and sounded like he didn't want to play.

I'll be watching with my Mats shirt on

I hope we give him what he deserves and give him a very long standing O. I doubt we will but it would put a smile on my face if we did.

I finally saw a replay on some highlight show (I think it was Sportscentre) but it was against the Avs, some player shot the puck and Kabby tried to glove it or it hit his glove and that seemed to be where he got hurt.

On a side note, they should put up a McDonald's ad on the score board and the crowd should chant "WELLY! WELLY! WELLY!"

And I'd also like to see Grabovski fight Wellwood and/or administer a big hit on him!

He should get the same treatment as Delgado received when he returned.
