This is by far my favorite day of the season, hate fests about with the BOA & Ottawa/Habs

It's an annual thing and Hockey Day is very different from a typical HNIC broadcast. Hockey Day is almost an unofficial holiday and CBC broadcasts all day from a small hockey town in [usually rural] Canada and they do features all day about hockey.

But seriously. I worked my ****ing ass off in 4 programs to get this done.

Time Spent: 20 hours approx.
Uses: Dynamic Actionscript 3.0

Seriously, there were like 1100 lines of code in the fla alone.

So please forgive my sloppy coding on the html. I ran out of time.

Requires: Flash 9 or better. IF you're in the .2% of the world that doesn't have it, you can download it here.

GO HERE FOR THE GDT

Legal: Pics property of Getty Images, Video property of the Oilers and Flames respectively. Music is "Through the Horned Gate" by 3 Inches of Blood. I think they're on Roadrunner Records. Seriously, don't sue me.

GO OILERS GO

I'll update the links in the morning when stuff comes along.

And please wait until the sound in the video is over. You'll see the bios and stuff after the video ends.

This should theoretically be an easy Sports Action ticket:

-Ottawa over Montreal
-Vancouver over Toronto
-Calgary over Edmonton

I hate picking hockey though.
