He's like Lucic in that he's a physically imposing, strong forward with good hands (IOW, a potential power forward). He doesn't crush people with hits the way Lucy does and he won't drop the gloves as often, but he's in that mould. He impresses me more than Latendresse because with Lats you got the impression that if he wasn't doing anything offensively, he was just some half-assed version of Keith Primeau (who played most of his career half-assed to behin with) meaning he has size but doesn't use it to his advantage enough to score or forecheck. With Max, I think he can be a very effective player even if he ain't a 30 goal man.
MaxPac is a much faster skater than Lucic though but Lucic is more physically imposing....Both look to have very bright futures in the NHL for years to come.
True that 40+ shots against the Sens ain't a good thing.
We eased up after going ahead by so many so that explains it a bit, but I do think we've been a bit lazy. Certainly 40 shots against ain't nothing to be proud of. If we play like this, we may not beat Vancouver especially considering the roll they're on.
Did the refs take the over/under? Seriously, they've called stuff on us that they've ignored Ottawa doing. Makes me feel better about winning 5-2, which already made me glad considering we haven't beaten anyone by more than 2 since mid-January (6-2 win at home to Leafs).
