Bad news about Blackburn...From the way it sounds, he'll be lucky if he can play at all next season.

Honest words for Karel. He's got the right attitude about the situation.

It's now been almost 12 months since Blackburn played a hockey game at any level. Even if they can find a way to repair the nerve damage, what are the chances he's going to make up for all the lost development time?

Horrible news for Blackie. I'd think this development would mean that Sather MUST get Lundqvist over here and signed this summer, wouldnt it?

News couldn't get much worse for Blackie. Damn! I think he is our future #1 goalie, i hope he stays strong, this has got to be tough to swallow after missing a complete season.

It sucks. What's our situation in goal next year? Dunham/McLennan here, and Labarbera/Valiquette in Hartford? As mentioned, it'd be great to get Lundqvist over here to get acquainted to the NA game.

Goalies will be reshuffled big time, as long as there is a season. Lots of guys will be looking for homes, some teams looking to dump salaries. We could end up with any goalie at this point. No way to really figure this out.

there will be free agent goalies out there i guarantee dont know who and i will try to find out, so dunham will be bought out and mclennon might get signed would mind him being a back up if we bring up a good young goaltender, but if we sign a vet # 1 i would rather see a young guy than mclennon in the back up position, i want to see more youth in the organization whch we are all starting to see. plus this valiquette is a good young golaie hes only 26 remember hearing of him with nyi and wonderring why he never got a shot well i would like to see him get it here in ny. if has posted decent acvtually very good nhl stats in the games he has played so lets give him a good shot and see what he got, its only fair
