Miller has a low grade high ankle sprain and should only be out a few weeks maximum. The Sabres have no interest in Biron at all. Lalime can carry the load; Enroth should be called up and maybe play a game.

Gomez caught miller behind the net with his skate, it looked like he might have lost an edge. Still, it could have probably been avoided. Tim Connolly sent a message by going after Gomez, starting a scrum after Kaleta was brutally elbowed from behind by Naslund.

LOL we'd be over the cap. Briere for Afinogenov, Hecht and future considerations.

Not to mention that I wouldn't do that deal anyway. Enroth isn't going to be traded, and if he is, it's not going to be for a short term solution.

The Sabres are fine, Miller won't be out too longit seems. We don't want a goaltender from anyone!

A tad bit optimistic for a Buffalo fan? We honestly don't know. A trade won't happen anyways.

Why do you continue to post proposals with Briere in them when they're pointless because he has a NMC. Briere left on bad terms in Buffalo anyway, and I'm sure he wouldn't want to return.

I thoroughly believe that if the Sabres brass admitted their mistake and asked him to come back, Briere would highly consider it. He never wanted to leave (unlike Drury), so he'd probably be open to returning. That said, this is an ownership that still hasn't forgiven Mike Peca even when Peca said he was interested in coming back to Buffalo...so there's no way they'd be willing to admit they screwed up, rendering any Briere to Buffalo deal dead in the water.

If Miller is out for at least 3 weeks, Sabres should go in sell mode at the deadline.

Uh, Kaleta was not elbowed from behind. He was elbowed in the face.

I WISH that Naslund put him into the boards from behind. Anything to get that cheapshot POS out of the NHL would be a plus. And I mean anything.

Employing Hollweg, Avery and Orr in the past couple years and they get mad about a guy who delivers legal hits?

I'd hate Kaleta if he was on another team, the way I don't like Lucic or Ott, but the level of hate other fans have for him is rediculous.

I can honestly see the Sabres doing this. All Star last year, UFA after this season, cheap contract, worth a late pick, prospect or do-nothing guy.

High ankle sprains are very slow healers. Lalime for a few week? Ooooh, not sure I would be feeling too comfy if I were a Sabres fan. Depends on their schedule though, there are more teams in the east that suck than don't so you guys might be just fine.

Brutally elbowed from behind. Naslund him from the front. It was a clean hit. The penalty on that play came when naslund continued to push him into the ice because Kaletta leg locked him.
