I'm on it.

Interview with Senior VP Dave Nonis...

- We had a good night, entertaining vs. Canucks.
- Tried very hard to get Sundin in his last season with Vancouver. Did not get to specifics with Cliff last season.
- Chad Rau of Colorado college, possible player to sign. Having a good year. Skating is a little choppy, but scores.
- Alex Berry is a good hard nosed player, will look to sign him.
- Stalberg is a good player, when he is ready they will make a significant effort to sign him.
- Rest (of the older NCAA prospects) are quality players.
- NCAA scouts have done leg work. Joe Nieuwendyk has worked a lot of time on college free agents.
- More than 2 (maybe 3 or 4) NCAA free agents may be signed over the next few weeks.
- Asked about Bozak and Gilroy, no specific comments.
- Will try to increase signing bonus on NCAA UFA's.
- Watched Gilroy play while GM with Vancouver. NHL skater and vision. Most NHL teams have followed him, he'll sign somewhere. Doesn't fall under entry level system. Can pay him anything.
- On Kubina: nothing's changed, will not ask player to waive NTC. Players know our current situation. Likes Pavel's enthusiasm to play in Toronto.
- Would be surprised if Burke goes to Kubina, even with an offer that blows him away. Doesn't see any change with Kubina.
- If Kubina is a piece other GM's are looking for, they'll take on the contract. He's played pretty well, has played harder. Very good vs. Vancouver.
- Compares Kubina to Ohlund, can carry lots of minutes, doesn't fatigue.
- If healthy, Vancouver can win some playoff rounds with Luongo. Can do well in post season.
- Would never talk about trades with ownership in Vancouver.
- To his knowledge, Jeremy Williams has not asked to be traded. "May have talked to Brian"
- Just because players go through waivers, it doesn't mean they're worthless. Could be AHL flip.
- Boyd Devereaux plays hard, is reliable. Not much offence, but effective.

Looking at signing Rau and Berry at season end. Looking at maybe up to 5 college free agents.

Not asking Kubina to waive....etc etc etc. "If you get a big offer will you ask him" more or less answered Kubina would have to approach burke about a deal, burke will not approach Kubina

Somebody there reads HF boards. If you are reading (whoever you are) thank you for asking some legit questions about players we have and are looking at that dont get much attention.

Nice to get an interview with new answers on things, kudos.

Really hope we bring Stalberg over to the Marlies, we could have a fantastic Marlies squad next season to watch if we pull in all the players that could go.

I think it's Hockeywiz, he is always posting these types of threads, with artcicles, interviews etc before anyone else knows about them.
