Drink beer.
I'd love the #1 pick, but I wouldn't use it. Trade down to #3 for extra assets and take Duchene.

He will bolt if not traded. I can't imagine him or Lappy wanting to stick with the sinking ship.

Is anyone still saying Budaj is a better choice in net than Raycroft?

Gosh darnit! I hate these bad bounces.

I almost hope Sakic doesn't come back. There's no reason to tarnish his legacy by playing with this team and for this coach one more game.

Why? So he can stand still then drop to one knee in front of the net? Really what does even accomplish? Was he pretending he was Clark there? Anytime Clark is out of position, he'll just go down and make it look like hes doing something. Thats exactly what leopold did on that last goal.

Yep. That's EXACTLY the right strategy. I think as long as we get #4 we should be ok for Duchene. I can't imagine those cowboys in Tampa would take another center. I bet they'd take MSP or the winger that's the closest to playing in the NHL.

I don't know. I'm hearing generational talent on both. May be hard to pass up that #1 or #2 pick.

I'm ready to bet that Matt Duchene has a better career than John Tavares.

My anger and frustration starts before that. It will start when FG trades that 1st rounder for an exAv for that playoff push.

Right there is why McCormick should be the AHL. 2 on 1 and he hugs the defender, is out of place for the rebound. Boo-urns

True. From the little bit I've seen of Duchene I actually think his game will translate very well to the NHL, and offensively I think he can match what Tavares will do. In the end I think an extra asset (maybe top pair potential D or #1 potential goalie prospect??) + Duchene > Tavares. Tavares may be better for the marketing crew, but in terms of rebuilding I'd like the Duchene+ package. And I know it's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY early, but I think Cam Fowler (2010) will end up better (overall) than Hedman. Fowler has badass stud written all over him.

Lets see, on page 1 I said Budaj being in goal means we lose. Boy...right again

I did want to keep him as a back-up. I'm not so sure anymore

Nice PP goal.

Wish we didn't have to score about five more to win this game.
