Sometimes you just have to trust your agent, and your coaching and teams executive staff... sometimes it works out, sometimes not.

So what you're saying is that - if history is any indication - we should all expect the Oilers to lose.

I would not be all that upset with such an outcome; perhaps then people would realize (and by people I mean management) that this is not a playoff team (barring a major shakeup).

Given the history and record of the Oilers in games they should win, I predict a two goal win for the Lightening - one of which will be an empty netter by Lecavalier.

This is as close to a must-win as it gets. Why do I have this bad feeling they're going to come out flat? I'm already frustrated...

Rollie's had a couple days of rest at home so he *should* be good to go, combined with a hint of desperation from MacT now that this team's in 9th place, with no more games in hand to help them out.

And with this team not playing another back2back for more than 3 weeks, I expect MacT to go with Rollie until they have to scrape poor Dwayne's rotting carcass out of the net with a spatula.
Personally, I like the old school flavour the Oilers are bringing by only dressing one goalie. Though I wonder what happens if Roli goes down to injury: will they bring someone out of the stands or put the call out for Zombie Lester Patrick?

No problem, yeah there wont be any details on pairings or even who is playing on D until later, so yeah my D pairings were absolute guess work, and who has been playing together of late. But with so many injuries it is hard to guess, but yeah if Kracjiek is out unfortunately Koci will probably be playing, but if Krajicek is ready to go then Koci will be a healthy scratch is my guesstimate.

I don't get him and his huge streak of stupid penalties.
When it comes to the Oilers, the refs always need someone to have a hate on and give penalties to them. It ended up being Moreau after Greene was traded. The refs used to give Greene those penalties.

The Bolts send a sharp dose of reality to the jaded Oiler fans who still believe this team is a playoff team.

Lightning 6
Oilers 1

same as healthy scratch: Deslauriers on the bench

No love for Quebec I guess

The Oilers will lose tonight resulting in Pandemonium and General Flaming in the new Fire Mact! thread. After browsing the posts Katz demands action so Klowe makes Mact assistant to the president of hockey operations.

He then promotes Bucky to head coach where we go on a ten game winning streak and challenge for the division title. Klowe then schedules a presser where he states that after a rocky start, things have unfolded much the way they thought they would and expectations are in keeping with statements made at the beggining of the season.

Go Oilers.

We needs points. And to get points we need goals. Therefore we need Howie Meeker. "SHOOT THE PUCK"

Is it true that 100% of the shots you don't take miss the net?
