Smith is out with post concussion syndrome, might not be back till next season

Ewww, I thought we were in bad shape.
Yeah its really bad, Meszaros and Ranger out probably for the season (both shoulder injuries), Lundin stuck in AHL due to re entry waivers, Niskala in Sweden, Mihalik injured so we are stuck with frickin Koci. I mean when healthy we needed a top 4 dman, but now we need like 3

To top it off our top 2 goalies are also out, as Kolzig is out with arm injury I think, again probably for season, stupid injuries. Vinny is still recovering as well, I hope next season it is made up for and we get no injuries.

How did Wishart look in his 5 game stint? it seems he's struggling with Norfolk but I watched him in the prospects game in Traverse City this summer and I was extremely impressed.

He is going to be good, just looked very nervous, and a bit slow in the NHL. Played more physically this call up, which was good to see, but didnt really stand out much either good or bad.

He will take a couple of years in the AHL before he will really be ready. Yeah it is fair to say he has struggled with Norfolk, but as a team they havent been great this season, so hopefully next season he and the team turn it around.

There's no excuse tonight. The Oilers have to win.

Prediction:

Oilers: 11ty
Lightning: 0

But seriously, I'm thinking the Oilers might find the net tonight.

5-3 Oil with an empty netter.

Smith is injured, but it wouldn't surprise me if Ramo steals the game from us. If he can do it to the Bruins he can do it to us.

Bolts fan here.

My prediction : Ramo will play like a god tonight but the rest of the team will fail to show up for him.

4 to 1 oilers win.

I like how it seems fans of each time predict their teams to lose.

Same old Oilers.

3-1 Lightning with the Oilers being out-shot at-least 3-to-1 in the opening period.

With Tampa's injuries and looking at that defense, there is no way we can lose this game.

We have to have this one.
