Probably just as bad as "Fire Renney" after every loss, eh?

Yes every loss...the losses that just kept building up, the 9 wins in regulation since Nov...the problems that were not getting fixed, 1st place team to 8th place team...yes there was good reason.

Don't forget about people like me who aren't totally in the Torts camp, just more or less in the anti-renney camp.

I still think laviolette was the best choice to take over. Sadly we won't know. I do think that Torts is better than Renney though.

I wasn't pro-renney as much as I didn't see a need to make this move now...I think the players are the problem...if anybody remembers I killed this roster last summer..I predicted the problems they would have with scoring..

I did call for renney to be fired last season when the roster was much better...with this roster renney got as much out of as possible...I hope torts is great but I don't think he can turn water into wine..

Any chance Prucha is in there as a placeholder for Anisimov? I can't see them going with Dubinsky on the wing without adding another legit center.

What I'm looking forward to is looking what will happen with Tortarella's reputation of holding players accountable regardless of supposed status and paycheck.

Let the benching begin.

That seems to be how a lot of us feel. That's the reason I'm not jumping on the Tortorella.. (ella.. ella.. ella.. eh.. eh..) train just yet.

You are wrong because you stated Naslund-Gomez-Zherdev never played together.

That how you do that drill, you pick the fastest skater.

but it would be kind of funny to see orr or voros lead it, and see the players struggling to skate that slowly.

or what happens if Orr or Voros falls when doing the drill, does the entire team have to fall as well?

I'm somewhere in the middle. I thought we needed a change, but I don't know if Torts or anyone else can make a difference with the personnel we have. I guess we'll find out soon enough...

It doesn't matter what you said or didn't say. The bottom line is whenever that line did play together; the puck movement was very nice to watch.

Renney did use Naslund - Gomez - Zherdev at some point this season and it looked good. I like them together.

Finally... I've been calling for Naslund Gomez Zherdev for a while now. Renney only used them together briefly and got rid of the line because of defensive lapses. They scored while they were together but also gave up some goals. if you just give them time, they'll figure out how to do something defensively. They easily move the puck the best of the group.

Better say bye bye to Sjo, Betts and Orr though because Torts is notorious for never playing some 4th line players. He'll dress guys and just never play them the entire game.
