Individual talent is good to have, but working as one is better(and neccessary w/ this team). On our powerplay we see a lot of individual efforts...but a PP only works when these efforts are intertwined into a unit thats moving together, reading plays, and adjusting to the other teams provisions.

Torts' PP style will improve this teams PP:

And more Tortorella style hockey below.....cycle, cycle, to the slot, and shot(notice every single player is moving to find openings while the puck is in the offensive zone....on a PP)

Tort's likes using the cycle game, therefore more skillfull & GRITTY players are needed.

Once I heard he was going to be coach I immediately said that the Rangers need to go out and get Vermette and Neil. Two players with size and speed who take the attack to the other team.

That would be good. I still think Ottawa could send over a Vermette, Neil, Schubert package for say Dawes, Prucha, Potter

You really need to stop with your trade ideas. This one in particular, just brutal. Think first - 'Will other teams offer more than these fringe NHL'ers?'
