Probably just a habit...he hangs on tight to the puck and just concentrates on doing that. If he falls he falls.

The best thing Carbo could do right now is give Halak the start in the next game....and whether he wins or loses....start him the game after that too. It will give him tons of confidence and it'll show him that the team has faith in him and are comfortable with him in the net.

No.. Actually i went to a chinese restaurant and the fortune cookie told me that.

But seriously, i am a Carey Price fan but IMO, no way he would have get a shutout tonight with the way he is playing lately. Halak made some incredible saves and lots of them with his glove and we all know Price is weak with his gloves.

Relieved he actually held onto the puck and no rebound. I kid. Halak was great.

Depsite that, he assisted on an important pp goal and had a breakaway that hit the post. Had he scored on the breakaway what would you say to that. He also came very close to creating another turnover by catching the Vancouver defense napping. His performance wasn't as good as last game, but tonight wasn't pathetic. 4 points in two games for him. If he averages a point per game for the rest of the year would that be so pathetic? Stay tuned.

No, it's only 2. Might be 3 points for a goalie in a fantasy pool.

That being said Luongo made some big saves to keep VanCity in the game. Especially in the first period!

Great team win and a fantastic performance by Halak Koivu Plekanec.

I love Stewart....He's a better version of Kostopoulos. Stewart can play and drop em with anyone.

If only they can move Laraque's contract.

Having Kostopoulos and Stewart gives Montreal two guys who will drop em when things get out of hand.

Once Tanguay comes back, this offence will get interesting.

Tanguay Koivu D'Agostini
AK46 Plekanec AK27
Higgins Lapierre Pacioretty
Kostopoulos Chipchura Stewart
Dandenault - Only have Chipchura in before Dandenault because Chipchura is the only one who can play C and has played very well in that role.

Dandenault can spell Brisebois on D who can use a break. He's been okay but looked a bit tired tonight.

Hey take the win one game at a time,be glad they are breaking out of their slump.

Montreal is no where as bad as their slump, and sometimes you have to get ugly to get out of the pit.The good games will come

Thats what my team had to do in their losing streak earlier,Halak was very very good. And your team was very good in the face off-- over 63% and we are in the top 6 in FO's

I think this became forgotten in all of this. Luongo made some big saves too and got lucky on the goal post too. Montreal had opportunities too to get a comfortable lead and Luo came up big.

Also, the amount of block shots by the Canucks made a huge difference in the shot differential. Montreal could not get a shot through in that second period.
