make your playoff team.

What do you guys think our team will look like when the playoff starts

Here's mine:

LW - C - RW
*Perreault Koivu Zednick
Ryder Ribeiro Kovalev*
Bulis Begin Sundstrom
WArd Dowd JUneau/Langdon/Dackell

*: If we are to play Dagenais, I'd put Perreault out and Kovalev on the first line, putting back Dagenais with Ribeiro

LD - RD
Sheldon Souray Stéphane Quintal
Francis Bouillon Patrice Brisebois
Andrei Markov Craig Rivet
Mike Komisarek

G
José Théodore
Mathieu Garon

I'd say we have a pretty cool team!

That is the exact lineup I was going to put up there. Except perhaps swapping Kovalev and Bulis.

Zednik-Koivu-Kovalev
Dagenais-Ribeiro-Ryder
Bulis-Dowd-Sundstrom
Bégin-Juneau-Ward

Langdon-Perreault-Dackell

Souray-Quintal
Markov-Rivet
Bouillon-Brisebois

I think that gives us 4 solid lines...2 very good offensive lines and 2 very good defensive lines, I donèt like taking Dags off the Ribs line, hes got the best GPG average and although he cant skate he hasnt been that bad, stick with what works!

I like the defense, except I suspect the Bouillon-Brisebois duo will struggle with teh extra fore checking the playoffs bring

Right on! That's my line up too!
I think we can use Perreault's offensive abilities on the 1st line. You can say what you want about him being a bad forechecker and having poor defense, but you can't deny that he could provide important goals for us in the playoffs.

.

I can deny it...Perreault sucks so what he score a couple of goals, no one has noticed how horrible he has been at everything else

This is the most likely lineup imo for the forwards but for the d......Markov and Breezy have had some nice chemistry i believe before and so have cube and rivet so those would be my pairings.

And there are 2 realities that must be taken into account. First - You don't have the best face off man in the league on your team and sit him.

Second - There are 2 possibilities for Langdon to be in. 1 - He starts playing actual hockey at a good level, which by the way, he has in the past few games, and 2 - The series gets out of hand and they need him for his figting....

my lineup

Ryder/Koivu/Zednik
Bulis/Ribeiro/Kovalev
Begin/Dowd/Ward
Dackell/Juneau/Sundstrom

Souray/Quintal
Markov/Rivet
Bouillon/Brisebois

This lineup distributes speed and experience pretty equally through the 4 lines and allows Julien to roll 4 lines without having to worry so much about specific matchups, especially on the road where it is very difficult to match lines without the last change. I think it is important for this team to roll 4 lines as this is not a particularly big or tough team that can lean on a couple of lines without wearing them out.

I like Malakhov's line-up.

Here's one that we definitely won't see even though I'm sure it would be fun to watch:

Perezhogin - Koivu - Kovalev
Zednik - Ribeiro - Ryder
Bulis - Perreault - Sundstrom
Bégin - Dowd - Ward

etc.

Say no more, this is our line up. No Weak links a la Perrault and Dags. Please people yall being fooled just because Perrault scored couple goals! Hes still soft and slow and feeding off Koivu and Zed. Ryder is the perfect fit. As for the Ribs line, Ribs will always look for Kovy while bulis forechecks, just perfect.
