A Full Habs Healthy Lineup Just Imagine

This would be mine
Tanguay-Koivu-Higgins
Pacioretty-Pleckaneck-Kovalev
S Kosty-Lang-A Kosty
Lats-Lappiere-Kosto

Schneider-Markov
Hammer-Komisarek
Bouillon-Gorges

Mang those lines give me a serious boner. I almost straight up cream my pants when I think of them.

Your lines/thoughts?

Koivu and Tanguay are both playmakers, and Higgins blows. That line would not work.
I like all the other lines though.

Switch Higgins and Andrei.

Have we had the complete lineup for a game this year? I'm not sure
I can remember a game where everyone was playing.

Barring all these injuries, I wonder how different this season would have been.

Tanguay - Koivu - A.Kost
S.Kost - Plek - Kovalev
Latendresse - Lapierre - Higgins
Dandenault/Laraque - Begin - Kosto

Markov - Schneider
Harm - Komo
Georges - Dandenault/Brisebois/O'Byrne (in that order)

Leave Bouillon off this team, he's not talented enough to play considering his size. Higgins should never be on the top 2 lines or the PP, otherwise I like him. I left Lang off because he is done for the season.

The Kovalev line needs somebody to do some grunt work on the boards and someone with moderate offensive talent. Latendresse or Higgins it is.

Tanguay - Koivu - A.Kost
Higgins - Plek - Kovalev
Latendresse - Lapierre - Kosto
Dandenault - Begin(Chippy) - S.Kost(Patches)

The 1st line would be dynamite, the 2nd would be Plek and Kovy with Higgins as a decoy. The 3rd worked so well until injuries took Lats out. The 4th is hard workers and Sergei or Patches.

Tanguay-Koivu-Kovalev ------- 3 best players of the team, real first line, make it work no matter what.
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Higgins --- Hard workers
S.Kost-Lang-A. Kost ---------- Brothers + veteran line maybe not good defensively but heck, its our 3rd line.
Latendresse-Lapierre-D'Agostini - Kid line. Good 4th line.

4 scoring lines. **** the 4th and checking/energy line.

I guess I'll leave out Lang (which sucks) and give it a shot.

top 6:
Tanguay - Koivu - A.Kost
MaxPac - Plekanec - Kovy

bottom 6:
Higgins - Lapierre - D'Ago
Lats/S.Kost - Chips - Kosto/Dandy

Markov - Schneider
Hammer - Komi
Bouillon - Gorges
(O'B/Breezer)

Price/Halak

edit: by the way, 2 years ago if you would have told me I would have D'Ago semi-permanently in there and NOT on the 4th line, I would have told you to wash your mouth out with soap...

Tanguay-Koivu-Kovalev
Pacioretty-Plekanec-AKost
Higgins-Lang-D'Agostini
Latendresse-Lapierre-Kostopoulos

Switch Kovy, D'Agger and AKost at will but keep them all on RW.

Markov-Gorges
Hamrlik-Brisebois
Schneider-Komisarek

Tanguay and Koivu are good playmakers, but could use a finisher on that line. D'Agostini could rack up a fair number of goals with those two. Besides, we need to have at least one RH scoring threat.

Lang won't be back, so I would re-insert Higgins as the 3rd C and thus spare us from using Chipchura or Begin in that role.

SKost can't be counted on just yet. Though limited talentwise, I think Stewart could be a useful 4th liner some nights, Laraque other nights.

I would consider spreading the top talent onto three different lines.

Latendresse-Koivu-AKost
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Kovalev
Tanguay-Higgins-d'Agostini
Stewart/Laraque-Lappiere-Kosto

Markov-Schneider
Hammer-Komisarek
Bouillon/Dandenault-Gorges

Each of the top three lines has one veteran scorer, one 24-26 yo proven secondary scorer and one 20-22 yo youngster with clear potential to contribute. Imagine trying to check this team! Who do you key on?

I don't think there's much chance that SKost comes back into the top 9 while Kostopoulos is in the pressbox. They gave Kosto the 'A' the other night!! He is an example of the work ethic the team is trying to inculcate.
