He was playing well before his injury. For a change. He was showing positive signs playing with Lapierre. This team can do without him though. Doesn't mean I want to give up on him but he doesn't have enough impact to miss when injured. Role guy.

Well, don't we have like 5 victories since he's hurt?

If we see it this way we sure miss him!

I for one miss him. He's not the big game breaker but he was contributing. And I'm sure Lapierre misses him...

He was playing well for his standards. Are those standards anywhere near something I would miss? Not at all.

I think Lats was finally starting to understand what it takes to be a regular in this league and I look forward to him returning. He was on our best line before he went down, it would be nice to role 3 strong lines again.

I don't think he's the guy who, this year, is gonna make us win games, but I think he's still quite important in our line up, hence yes, we miss him...

Yes on one side we are not doing good since he's gone but let's be serious, it's not because he not playing.

One thing I noticed tho is that Laps has not been the same since he's injured.

Personally I do, like other posters have mentioned. I really liked the way that Laps and Lats played together.

Somewhat, I suppose - Habs lines for playoffs (barring trades/injuries):

Plekanec/Kovalev/A. Kostitsyn
Koivu/Higgins/Tanguay
Lapierre/Kostopoulos/Latendresse
Begin/Stewart/D'Agostini
Reserves (if Hamilton eliminated): Chipchura, Laraque, Pacioretty, Lang (IR)

Markov/Schneider
Hamrlik/Komisarek
Gorges/Dandenault
Reserves: Bouillon (IR?), Brisebois

The one thing I notice of this is that we are 6-0-1 without Bouillon. So we probably are gonna go undefeated in regulation till the end of the season since fortunetly, Bouillon is gone for some time.

I also notice we miss Breezer when he is awau way much than other players... we are 4-7-1 without Breezer, yet we are 4-6-1 without Lang

Lesson in this... win% stats for when a player is in or out of the lineup isn't really useful, especially when its internal problems that tweaked the results for over a month.

Latendresse was playing some of his most consistant hockey before his injury. The team can do without him but his presence should help when he comes back.

We miss Lats a lot more than most want to admit. Lapierre is not the same player with him out, he is the one that adds offense to that line, plus he is our most consistent physical presence up front.

Yep, Lats-Lapierre-Kosto is a fine 4th line. We need a third line center for the stretch run though.
