Uhh I went 75 for 83 in my last game...that's a .904 sv%...but I'd be happy to switch places with Briggs. In every league I've ever played in I pretend I'm Ron Tugnutt taking on the Bruins. On the Queue...
I've got NHL legal pads and gloves and am riding a 7 game winning streak!
I need an upgraded mask, some motrin, some ben-gay, my skates sharpened, and man, I am there...
edit: some additional cotton padding for the cup, too...
The Buffalo News: In other news, Sabres owner Tom Galisano is attempting to legally change the name of the franchise for the remainder of the season. While the officially proposed name has not been announced, rumors are running rampant that the Paychex mogul looks to rename the team the Buffalo "Book-of-Job-on-Ice". Larry Quinn is preparing a press conference to announce the unveiling of the team's new colors are logo sometime early next week.
It just took me 5 minutes to read that aloud to gaf, who is in the other room. I was laughing too hard...
The organization is ridiculous because Lalime got the flu? I'm not following. If you think this is some sort of fakejob than it's time to take off the tinfoil hat. If they wanted Enroth to play they'd play him. The fanbase doesn't care about Lalime, they want to win games.
I wouldn't put it this management to do something dishonest to put a favorable spin on it. They suffer from a chronic case of acute insecurity. Instead of simply saying they couldn't afford bring Lafontaine off IR, it becomes they're sincerely concerned about his health. Instead of giving us the straight dope on Drury/Briere they got caught in a mountain of lies trying to put their actions in the most favorable light. It took them forever to admit they didn't know how LTIR was applied to the salary cap. I'm 99% sure there's no funny stuff going on with Lalime. But you can never be 100% sure with this management team.

Wow, mountain of lies? I don't remember it that way. Mountain of bad decisions maybe. In any event, I don't see the motive here. I think most people are ready to bail on Lalime if Enroth's indeed a better option.
