Seriously, its an attempt on freedom. Freedom of choice. Its really stupid to even think about banning types of food.

What a socialistic way to act. Brrr, really scarry. I hope this will never pass anywere.

Lats will start a revolution if it passes. Beware.

Gatineau considering a poutine ban.

Well, I'm considering a Gatineau ban then.

If they consider banning poutine, I'm gonna consider moving elsewhere.

If that passes, you could actually get arrested for eating/smuggling in/making your own poutine?

"just" poutine?

the point isnt "just" poutine. its our rights. they ban smoking in public places because of second hand smoke and thats understandable. Are they worried the heath fumes from the poutine will affect the person next to you's health?

Guys, guys, guys. The municipal council will back down because if they take out fast food out of the arenas (all of it except hot dogs, might I add), minor hockey will suffer, because then cantines are all managed by minor hockey here.

I doubt it will happen.

Though, I need to add, that the poutines in the Gatineau arenas are godawful. The best place is in Papineauville, about 20 km east of Gatineau. Best damn fries in all of the arenas.

Say it ain't so! I had some excellent Poutine at La Belle Province this weekend after the win against Ottawa, it made it so much more satisfying.

It has already been removed from Martin Brodeur arena in Saint Leonard.

The menu there is menu-sante.

Too bad you didnt take the time to read the whole article, it isnt just poutine, it's everything "fat related", french fries, hot-dogs, chips, chocolate bars, Pepsi/Coke, even Gatorade maybe ?

Man, there's a restaurant literaly 30 seconds walk from where I live that makes the best poutine I've ever had. They even have chicken-poutine with a spicy sauce in it which, believe it or not, is amazing.

The temptation is hard to resist sometimes =(.

They said on the radio that sports drink will stay, but all the rest is gone. They will serve pasta and I don't know what else.

I always thought Quebec was the most Socialist of all the provinces. Ah well as long as it's what the people want
