Raycroft in for the Avs

Liles is supposed to be back in the line-up (that was a short "indefinitely" wasn't it?)

Brodeur MAY play tonight, but there are indications that he may dress as a back-up:
Quote:
Martin Brodeur previously had said he was targeting tonight's game for his return from elbow surgery, but there was some thought that coach Brent Sutter might play it safe. Brodeur, however, told his coach at practice Wednesday that he was ready to go. "I feel good," Brodeur told reporters after practice. "I feel I haven't lost much out there practicing and moving around and then feeling the puck and controlling my rebounds and all that. It's a question of seeing game action, and I am sure that will take a bit."
So I am guessing we see Marty, but it's possible we see Weeks. Either way, it's another Avs vs. good team. So I'm guessing that we see the "good " Avs

Agreed that we should see the "good Avs". New Jersey is a team that by all rights should clobber Colorado, so naturally the Avs will win tonight.

Can you imagine this team in the play-offs? With the level of competition they'd be unstoppable.

DP and RMN both report that JM Liles should be playing tonight.

No no, it's not you, I just like hearing the sound of my own "voice." HA!

(Hell, I'm in radio, if I didn't like hearing the sound of my own voice, this would be a tough industry to be in)

I can't wait for Frustation-fest to start. I am going to get an ulcer watching this terrible hockey team. We need a coach, a goalie, and a d man with a point shot. NOW!

Thanks John Madden (the football version)...and I suppose that the team with the most goals at the end of the game will be that winner?

remember its not the goals that determine a winner. Its the bounces

Heh. Just posted the same thing.

I think that tonight the bounces won't go the Avs' way, but against the NYR and NYI, they'll get enough good bounces to get at least a point in both games.

For those who don't watch the Devils much, take note of the game of Zach Parise.

Ovechkin and Crosby might get all the love for making the game exciting again, but Parise is right there with them in terms of enjoyable to watch.

It means Granato is going to throw darts to pick his lines for the night, because he changes them every two shifts.
