Make your trade deadline predictions

Okay let's cut the crap. We have tons of threads speculating on who people want or who they would trade. Well enough I say, let's crystal ball it. Put down who you really think the Flames will get by March 4th. No opinions, no comments, no criticisms. Just list none, one, two, three or more players who you think will be Calgary Flames come midnight March 4th. Here's my predictions:

G - Kevin Weekes

D- Greg Devries

F - Travis Moen

D - Jay-bo

F - Halpern

G - none

Sutter uses up his wad for the big D. So he has no assets for a goalie. Halpern is grabbed for a 3rd round pick to added some center depth after shipping out Lombardi or Boyd.

F- None, we've already got extra's.
D- Leopold. Assuming Colorado doesn't get hot.
G- Curtis Joseph. Yep. He played great for us in the playoffs last year, and I dont think TO has any reason to keep him.

I don't think the Flames will have another player. The team is deep with guys like Prust, Primeau, Boyd, Greentree, Lundmark.

With the injuries of Bourque and Giordano for a long term, Boyd and Lundmark have more ice time to do some interesting things.

But, another defenceman can be useless for the playoffs (D like Steve Montador & Mike Commodore). Vandermeer's play was'nt conclusive last night...

any chance Sutter picks up Vaananen? He'd come cheap, and he's a UFA. He just got waived.

if Im a betting man zero trades. Might squeak Chris Neil in for a late draft pick. But NO players get traded Im a guessing. Understand the logic, but your always hoping for that last push, and Sutter doesnt operate that way. As a big hockey fan, you always hoping for that bomb , luv this time of year, but because you can taste it, just doesnt materialize, and your always left wanting more

Not sure what will happen but I think Jokinen is a strong possibility. We need a d man to, and could probably get Morris, but I do not think he is wanted for a second tour of duty in Calgary. JayBo is a possibility, but we have a great chance at him in the offseason, and I think if Florida moves him they want an impact d man going the other way, which we do not have a lot of. (Sarich? Regehr and Phaneuf are not going anywhere.) Toronto is a possible trading partner to I think, and we need a d man to. Either way, I am not sure who comes over, but i think Sutter picks up at least 1 forward and 1 d man at the deadline, and no goalies, because in Kipper we trust.

I would be totally down with this if it happened.

Except didn't Joseph say he wanted to retire in Toronto?
