Hopefully this means Dandenault is back on defense and Brisebois is back in the press box.

@ Kostitsyn still with Kovalev

I think this is a sign for Laraque, either show you are useful to the team or your gone next week.

Shouldn't this diminish any trade rumours involving him? With the way Laraque is supposed to play, if Gainey were shopping him very seriously, I'd imagine they'd want to keep him safe from injury in the press box.

That said, if he's staying, then Philly is the kind of team you definitely want him in the line-up against.

Let's see what he's made of tonight. Hey who knows, he might be reading this.

BGL, if you are, show me some heart.

Hopefully when Tanguay is back, he takes AK46 spot, and Andrei slides into D'Agostini's.

I'd like to see Pac with Koivu, he's clearly better suited to a top line role than D"Ago. I'd also like to see Chip with a player or two that have at least a little pure puck skill, as to put anyone like that with Lapierre is a waste.

When Tanguay comes back:

Higgins- Koivu-Tanguay
Kost-Plek-Kovy
Stewart-Lapierre-Kostopoulos
D'Ago-Chip-Pac

I'd love for that to happen but we all know it won't.

You guys are surprised? We're talking about the Flyers here, of course BGL was gonna replace Dandenault, even he knew when he was talking to the media, the problem is the treatment he gets when we're facing less physical teams, he's immediately stripped from the line-up. It's pretty sad to see when you think about the fact that half of the time the player replacing him is a defensmen who's set to become UFA this summer while we made a 3 years commitment on a player that was a need at this specific time last season....

I like having both stewart and Laraque in the line-up

exactly, Riley Cote and Scott Hartnell and big ****** and Montreal should be able to counter that with pests like Kostopoulos and Lapierre on one line and if it gets out of hand Stewart and Laraque...

I like the dimension of toughness it brings on the 3rd and fourth lines.

Here is your chance to put your money where your mouth is Georges. He talks a big game off the ice but I've yet to see it on the ice.

R. Cote is probably going to have to deal with a cranky Laraque.

I wonder what he's thinking.

Actually, it was said that they all asked to be together on the same line. Go figure.

The Philly game just became "Must See TV".

Not that teams are looking for goons at the trading deadline... at least Laraque has a chance to prove his worth and show Carbo just how bad he wants to play.

I still think George has his uses in Montreal.

Against Ottawa, he wasn't needed, because Neil was injured and they had no one else.

Against Vancouver, Darcy Hordichuk was back in Vancouver because his wife had a baby.

I imagine Philly will dress Cote, and Stewart is not in Cote's weight class. If Cote is quiet tomorrow night, then George basically has to just play hockey and throw a few hits.

He will be needed against Boston and Philly for sure for the rest of the season. I prefer to have him against Toronto to shut May's yap and rearrange his chicklets if needed. If Buffalo dresses Peters, then George should be in the lineup. He doesn't have to fight, he just has to make sure the other guy doesn't take liberties. If the other guy does, nevermind asking permission, just pound him.

Hopefully next year, George shows up healthier and in better shape and he can play better than what he's shown us so far this year. Of course, lets hope a lot of guys show us more than what they shown us this year.

Laraque should never be out of the Line-up. In my book à moé, he's ahead of Bégin, Stewart, Dandenault, Chipchura (unless Chip is used as a center) and is equal to Kostopoulos, because he's better offensivly and is so dominant physicaly that it influence the game.

Is Carbo just that stupid that he doesn't see that those two just don't work well together this season or is Carbo just being stubborn.....

Gainey doesn't need to trade him now. But he needs to have a serious discussion with him and Carbo, though.

Laraque must stop whinning in the medias, and start to show something this year.

Laraque is getting some respect.
How unexpected.

Carbo is not only stubborn... He is an incompetent coach. His staff too.
