*crickets*

Reminds me of when we got Gorges.

And then, when we saw him and how thin he was...we weren't convinced any further.

What's with the idol worship in this city. He's an AHLer who we got in return of giving Begin a shot at a new contract. He's a redshirt!

Welcome!

But are we ever going to see him?
First he needs to go through waivers.
Second, he would only be called in case of injuries.

Doesn't sound like we'll be seeing him too much this season unless bad things happen.

We do love those #8 defenceman from Dallas do we? Difference is there is no chance Bégin becomes Dallas #1 scorer....

he might not clear waivers. if he does then he is likely AHL material. I doubt we ever see him in a habs uniform....sort of a waste of a thread at this point. welcome him if he ever plays a game for the CH

At least we're getting taller. Even if it's by subtraction.

Wasn't Janik the captain of the Kelowna Rockets back in the day? No? Josh was!

from what I understand this was not even a move for depth, but rather simply a salary cap move.

Plus it was out of respect for what Begin did for the Habs.
