Obviously, Long Island, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, and Toronto in the East, and none of them really have a whole lot of respective quality to move. Ottawa are puzzling to me because they acquired Comrie from Long Island, so they may or may not sell over the next few days.

Out West, Colorado (a lot of flexibility with one and two year contracts) and Phoenix (not a whole lot to sell) are the only clear sellers. Nashville, Edmonton, Minnesota will be competing for those last two playoff spots, most likely, and Dallas will not go quietly into the night. They'll all likely be looking to add. St. Louis and LA might try play "Press Your Luck," and the Ducks, despite being on the skids, are still right in the thick of things.

Lombardi was on NHL live yesterday & he said they have nothing to sell except maybe O'Donnell. However, DL said he really likes O'D & is not looking to trade him.

He also said that if the right deal came along to acquire a young impact player that could help the team now & in the future, he would pull the trigger.

He will not trade any blue chip prospects or roster players for quick fixes just to get into the playoffs.

The kings will finally be buyers this year if the right deal presents itself.

Just to give you an idea of what he may be looking for:

Spezza
Heatley
Kovalchuk
Gaborik (if he was healthy)

Supposedly that trade was more about Campoli than Comrie, so that would explain that.

Still, why even bother with Comrie when your team doesn't have a chance in hell at making the playoffs? It just doesn't make a lot of sense.

Isles have Guerin and Weight to sell, and Guerin just agreed he would waive his NTC. Witt's also expendable as is Martinek and McAmmond to an extent.

Hilbert could be too, even though the Isles might keep him.

Well, they liked him last time he was a Senator. Ticket sales?

Colorado and Toronto. Don't care how close Toronto is, they're selling.
