Going by the rules, this could happen by all means since none of those players have NTC's or NMC's...

As long as both teams remain within the salary cap it should go through...

I just wondered whether this was really a move made by Columbus' GM... The user that posted the trade is not the one that's mentioned to be the Jackets or Red Wings GM so I wondered how he would know / why he would post that...

We'll need avengedsevenfold to update the list of GM's for each team and trades. Hope by tomorrow morning he'll be back.

Anyways, keep calling about the Hawks! :p

Panthers have tons of top 4 dmen available, from defensive dmen to pp quarterbacks.

J-Bo and Horton are both being shopped and both are in serious trade talks.

Vokoun can also be had for the right price.

Vets Dvorak and Stillman can also help chip in for a team looking for extra scorers.

Last chance to make offers for Kari Lehtonen. He may be on his way out soon.

Avs are really looking to trade for a #1 goalie. Rebuilding have started!!!

Avs are trying to more Svatos, Tucker, Arnason, Laperriere, Clark, Salei and Leopold for draft picks (e5).

Foote, Hannan and Smyth are also rumored to be on the move before the deadline (e5).

Mega deal just done by the Habs and the Panthers, pending Commish's approval.

I don't see any major cap issues, so....

To Montreal: Nathan Horton

To Florida: Pacioretty, S. Kostitsyn, 2nd Rd Pick, and Plekanec

The Panthers build that stable of young players and have Plekanec to replace Horton partially. Now, a J-Bo deal would give them some valuable cap space with which to go shopping. (Sedins to Florida in the offseason e5)
