I just heard on CKAC 730 that Steve Begin just got traded to Dallas... They didn't mention the return but i guess it's something minor.

This move doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I wouldn't think Begin would fetch anything more than a late pick. Does this mean that the Canadiens are sellers? I wouldn't think so.. I don't get it..

he's an honest, hard working 4th line player. He'll do a good job.
No idea why he was on Carbonneau's doghouse but he would've deserved better here.

He's been a healthy scratch alot this year, and he's been pretty effectively replaced by Stewart. Plus his contract is up at the end of the year anyway.
