Vzhik, really took a step forward during the 2011 U17 Challenge, by looking as good if not better than the greatest Russian prospects likes of Nichushkin and Dikushin. Ano a hatty!

His speed, intensity reminds me of Yakupov, Ovechkin, Bure style. I know it's WAY to early to say it, but the first games I saw with him, he stood out right away.

Tolchintsky has played 35 games and has 25 pts this season. Grigorenko played 43 games and had 35 pts last season. IMO Red Army was better last season, so it was easier for Grigorenko to collect pts.

yes, he is. So, it is interesting that he can collect the same pts (I hope ). He plays against 19-20 y guys who are bigger etc, so it has to be a big problem for him to succeed in corners, in front of net etc. Really interesting guy. We will see what future will be. I hope, he wont leave MHL this summer

Well, even though his production dropped, he's still the scoring leader amongst all unprotected players.

you have to consider that he suffered pneumonia in mid-december. So recovery takes time, plus Kapitan is weak team. All these facts are "against" his production. I dont want to advocate him, just to write some facts.

sorry, I dont. It would be great to have such stats (we would find out how many 94guys played MHL last season and then compare them to 95guys this season). Problem is that cca 190 such kids is in MHL database http://mhl.khl.ru/players/?letter=%D0%AF

Would someone help me to collect it?

The only efficient way that I know is elite prospects, but their stats are usually a bit outdated..

I think everything's all right with him, just the illness and changes in the team with new coach coming and Kapitan being very weak made his production what it is. He's still the youngest of them all and, imho, that's the main reason why he wasn't with U18 last year and U20 this year too, the teams were already too young... I think he's still the youngest player to score for Latvia's U20 (2 goals in Lida Cup when he was still 15 years old and playing on the worst line) and during the break he played 3 games in Latvian amateur league (2nd by strenth in Latvia where he played last year) and wiped the floor with opposition in 3 games getting 18 pts..... (granted 11 of them came in one game vs weak opponent but still...).

He's a bit under the radar at the moment but I hope he can be like Yakupov who, because of the small size, young age and weak team was also not getting many chances at 15-16 in MHL but look where he's now. Anyway Bukarts is back on Kapitan's second line and I hope we'll see something more from him in MHL again this year.

PS: Judging a player by his stats is also tricky as in that case we could conclude that Nichushkin is nothing to write back home in U17 group but we saw what he did in U17 tournament.

I'd love to see Liepājas "Metalurgs" have a team in MHL B too, as they also have a good youth system... And they could play in Latvian league too, as Prizma and Juniors this year participating both in MHL B and Latvian league. Then again, if MHL B grows and there are more games it will become impossible to play in Latvia too and our league that's already at the level of Latvian ''major'' junior competition will become even less interesting...

is there any rumour or just your desire?

Antonov wrote at twitter that new clubs want to join, but not name them.

my buddy heard Kozhevnikov mention Krylya in Rostov again, that happened at the game Spartak - CSKA, we'll see what transpires, the stadium in Rostov can fit 3-4k people per different sources with a hockey ice sheet in place. My guess it will be a team in the VHL though.
