Oh sigh. Fistric has to stay with Perry on the wall. Turco sealed off the wrap, but not the far post, and no one got over to pressure Perry into missing towards the far post.

The Stars have had a lot of trouble clearing their zone today.

Horrible turnover by Neal and the first really costly mistake by Sydor this afternoon, though in his defense (gasp), he was put in a horrible position by Neal.

I just got on to see the mindless Sydor bashing. Good to see you guys are still in great form.

3rd game in a row dallas has lost conceded a goal which puts them behind in the last 12 mins of a game...cant see them scoring a fourth..

one man cant beat a whole team...disappointing..

basically this whole game is on Ribeiro's shoulders.. if he can pull off another brilliant play we might get something out of it.

Really wish we had someone helping him out..

I got on as well to read the mindless sydor bashing lol. Not sure how Sydor can be blamed one tiny bit for that last goal.

Modano is useless.

Looks like he doesn't even care.

He'd had a better than average game until the third period, but he played that 2-on-1 very poorly. Still, 90 percent of that play is due to Neal's turnover, not Sydor's getting spun. Sydor certainly didn't help, but his mistake was not the biggest problem by far.

Again, I find it funny that mindless bashing is okay when it's the guy in your avatar but not when it's someone else.

this game is more like the ones earlier in the season where Dallas killed themselves with turn-overs and lazy plays..

come on Dallas, we need to get this to OT

I agree. Mo has been terrible. Ott has has been a non factor other than his pass to Ribs. Neal has been just pitiful.

I would say Neal needs to be sent down to get some of his confidence back that he was playing with earlier in the season, but we have absolutly nobody to replace him with.

we're basically stuck with this collection of players for the rest of the season. joy.

The 2-on-1? It was a 2-on-0 to begin with. Sydor was chasing back to force the saucer pass. I don't know how you expect Sydor to defend that any differently due to the circumstances.

Ott's screen was key on the power play goal. Neal had been good in the offensive zone, but that turnover was idiotic.

Eriksson has been the real invisible man the last four games. He is a huge part of the secondary scoring disappearing, and if he can only produce when getting big minutes with the best centers, he's much more easily replaceable than we'd all hoped.

Sydor is heading up the ice because the play is heading up the ice. Neal is not suppose to turn the puck over there. Not sydor's fault at all. AT ALL.

Sydor was back with the first guy. He didn't have the speed to do anything, which I think is one of his biggest problems. He simply lacks the speed to recover from his (or in this case, someone else's mistakes).

He didn't force either guy to even think about him. He basically knocked himself down and took himself out of the play, making it the 2-on-0 you talk about.

Again, the goal is not his fault. That whole lovely distinction goes to Neal. Sydor was placed in a bad spot, but he didn't play it as well as he could have.
