This was a horribly coached game by Tippett, bug Jean Jacques Taylor thinks he's a good coach so he must be.

I agree. I could care less about sydor before I got on these boards. I thought of him as a vet d-man coming in and helping out a struggling team get there game going. People on these boards make me feel for the ageing d-man. He has alot better plus- than alot o people on this team, but is thrown under the bus like crazy.

For unnecessarily cross checking Niedermayer after the whistle, although Giguere should be fined as well for what he did.

And I wouldnt cry if another team's player went after him because of it. If Ott wants to crosscheck the captain of the team when the game is over, he is going to have to stick up for himself. If he cant fight, maybe he shouldnt put himself in that position. It sounds pretty fair.

On the ice for 11 of the last 17 goals against from a guy who plays approximately 30 percent of each game.

Define for me better, will you?

Focusing on the positives, Niskanen needs to keep joining the rush it was nice to see him playing more aggressive then he played physical a few times. Now if they can get him playing that way every game it'll be good.

Wailed on him when the game was over? No, you come on. It was a cross check, something that happens in every single game, and the buzzer went off after the second cross check.

I'd agree with this.

While I'm pissed off at the Ducks for mugging Ott, it's Tippett's fault that a player of Ott's calibre is even on the ice at that point. WTF was he going to do out there, score?

Starting to lose faith in this Stars team.

This sucks.

I'm no fan of the Ducks, but if Pronger was doing that to Modano right in front of Turco as the horn sounded, what would you want Turco to do?

I wouldn't have cared if it was just Moen. Skaters jump each other at the end of the game all the time.

Goalies are another story. If Ott gets suspended, then Giguere deserves it too. Hell, there's even an NHL rule for it - instigating a fight in the last five minutes of a game, which is clearly what he did. That should be an automatic game right there.

In this case, he couldn't. Coming back from a broken hand isn't exactly smart to use that to punch skulls.

Congratulate Pronger for trying to get Modano engaged into a game.

That's what I think it was for. Those last couple of shots after Moen was down with the brace on the hand. It's hard for them not to call that. I bet if he just wrestles him down, he's fine. Heat of the moment thing, but I think he's considered a repeat offender.

Everyone knows what he was doing, its Steve freaking Ott. You dont think he knew who he was crosschecking with one second left in the game? Like I said, if he wants to pull garbage like that he should be prepared to defend himself. Same goes for any other player that does it, including Pronger.

Modo - he's the best screener they've got right now, plus he's on the first line. They were setting up for a point shot, so it makes sense they'd want their front of the net guys out there.

Kings17 - I'd hope he'd let Grossman or Fistric jump him. Or just whack him somewhere sensitive with his stick. Goalies need to not jump skaters.
